History
During the early days Allama Prabhu began developing and printing photographs for his personal use to exhibit his works extensively in salons as he was unable to find labs that provided consistent photographic services. He soon received requests from his friends and many professional photographers within the circle to setup a photo lab which could cater to photographer’s need and deliver quality services. Owing to the popularity he setup Prabhu Photos commercially in Brigade Road, Bangalore in 1972.
